The ID is one based on almost (but not total) certainty, given that you were unable to see the pored underside that I'm assuming. Trametes versicolor is very, very common, though with variation in the colours of those concentric bands on the upper side. The fruitbodies are also fairly thin whereas those of Pseudoinonotus are chunky. The other thin, concentrically-banded species in the CNM region is Stereum versicolor, but it has a smooth underside.
