I agree there is a robber fly in there, and it's caught something else, maybe a flower wasp. The Robber fly Daptolestes limbipennis has splashes of yellow on the legs which match this one.

Awesome photos. This is a Robber Fly and they are amazing predators. While actively flying they will capture and stab their prey with their proboscis (that sharp beak-like mouthpart hidden in its beard) & then perch to feed.

A very nice fly mimicing a wasp, even the colouring on the wings is designed to look like the folded wings of a Potter wasp
