I collected three and have two pupae now (another seems to have died). The others on the stripped tree have disappeared; starvation. predation or pupation?

Perhaps only P. casuarinae in the ACT. See Moths in the ACT p.211. I have two pupae from Psilogramma casuarinae (Privet Hawk Moth) so maybe the moths will reveal themselves one day.
