I'm not sure this is S. rubraria because the wavy wing pattern seems different to me and the antannae are not held in the characateristic S. rubraria fashion.

Attn, moth moderators. We have a redundant 'Scopula (genus)' entry in the Geometridae taxonomy. "Scopula (genus) (A wave moth)" has many sightings, whereas "Scopula (genus) (A Wave moth (Sterrhinae))" has only one sighting. I plan to reclasiify this sighting No. 12112 to the first "Scopula (genus) (A wave moth)" category.

I think this likely to be S. liotis due to the black head, dark brown collar (front of thorax) , the white mark on the head between the base on the antennae and the more prominent dot on the hindwing. See second image on LBH at https://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/ster/liotis.html

Cannot see marginal end of hindwimg postmedial line to distinguish this from E. bispinaria
